The China Education Panel Survey (CEPS) is a large-scale longitudinal survey project designed and implemented by the National Survey Research Center (NSRC) at Renmin University of China. The survey sample includes 112 schools, 438 classes, and approximately 20,000 students nationwide, covering students, parents, teachers, and school administrators.
CEPS aims to identify how families, schools, communities, and broader social structures shape individual educational outcomes, and to further examine how these outcomes influencelife-course development. The survey provides nationally representative, multi-level data to support academic research and evidence-based policy making.
