Launched at the end of 2018 by National Survey Research Center at Renmin University of China (NSRC), the DataBee Project has developed and operated the DataBee Cloud Telephone Survey Platform-a mixed-mode survey system that integrates face-to-face interviews, telephone surveys, and online surveys. This platform enhances the diversity and flexibility of data collection and meets the needs of different survey projects.

A newly upgraded DataBee Cloud system incorporates AI-assisted survey management, data analysis and visualization functions. Its crowdsourced pool of telephone interviewers has grown to more than 50000, significantly improving the efficiency and quality of data collection.

For many years, the platform has offered a wide range of internship opportunities to university students across the country who participate in large-scale social survey projects. It has also provided flexible. remote work opportunities for the general public,, contributing to the collection of authentic public opinion and provision of high-quality scientific research data.
